In addition to reporting recorded segments in front of the camera, I enjoy the challenge of hosting live events and pride myself on being extremely prepared and bringing great energy to every venue.
2023 Wildcat Awards
I was asked to be the master of ceremonies for our annual awards show celebrating the achievements of Northern Michigan's varsity athletic teams. Involved in scriptwriting, venue planning, and pre-production, I create a central theme of my message, craft humor into my dialogue, and keep the audience engaged with genuine and off-the-cuff commentary.
D1R Gameday
I coordinated, produced, and hosted my own version of ESPN's "College Gameday" at the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse live from the tailgate parking lot ahead of the game. We feature segments on impact players, highlights from around the playoffs, do game picks, and even have a live interview with the Eagles head coach in front of a growing crowd of spectators.
